4. Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World (Siam Paragon)

7. Pathum Wanaram Temple
When firstly found, Pathum Wanaram Temple was surrounded by rice fields and the only way to get there is by khlong (canal). Built in 1857 in the request of King Mongkut, it was the nearest place of worship to his Sa Pathum Palace. 9. Erawan Shrine
Erawan Shrine is one of famous and popular places for prayers in Thailand with the fact that it is Brahman, not strictly Buddhist. Built in the mid-1950s, the temple was rebuilt at the site after the local government decided to build a luxurious Bangkok Fourfold Hotel. However, there were many problems in the early construction period, so the locals requested this project should be continued after land gods’ permission.
